What you’ll do

As a HR generalist, you will undertake a variety of HR transactions and support the business on HR activities, such as, but not limited to:

  • Manage HRIS HR/P&C systems; Input new joiner information, process data changes, review and approve data change requests input by others, run reports and audit system/data

  • Use systems to address, track and resolve HR/P&C enquiries within Service Level Agreements

  • Investigate and solve general and knowledge-based enquiries, and escalate unresolved enquiries

  • Inform business users about Employee Self Service and Manager Self Service opportunities

  • Serve as first point of contact for Managers/Supervisors enquiries via various intake channels such as phone and chat

  • Execute compliance-related activities such as monitor visa and work permit expiry dates and liaise with Employees and Managers to ensure renewal is completed in a timely manner.

  • Produce HR letters and certificates

  • Take up other administrative duties and ad-hoc assignments as required

 

Key qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 1-2 years’ experience working in HR team preferred.

  • Understanding of HR policies and procedures, familiar with HR/P&C compliance requirements, including labour laws, data privacy regulations, and reporting obligations

  • Experience using HRIS systems, especially SAP Success Factors, an advantage

  • Strong oral and written communication, listening, and customer service skills

  • Able to work in teams effectively, as well as work independently

  • Resourcefulness and ability to find answers quickly, and thorough with responses to enquiries and issues

  • Good with technology to improve and automate activities

  • Ability to multi-task and manage different issues at once by providing support over multiple, ongoing chats

  • Ability to handle confidential information

  • Attention to detail and able to ensure accuracy while maintaining speed and efficiency
