Collection Manager, Legal Processing (Personal Loan)

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in achieving the loan impairment target and maximize recovery for the company
• Handle litigation accounts through various legal instructions in professional and timely manner
• Conduct account reviews and suggest necessary precautionary measures
• Proactively liaise and monitor the collection vendors, including but not limit to repossession agencies, legal firms or arbitration centers, in handling of collection cases
• Contact and negotiate with debtor or his/her authorized party when necessary
• Coach subordinates on their daily work to ensure compliance with the Money Lenders Ordinance and to drive operational efficiency
• Prepare accurate collection reports for management review monthly
• Stay alert to market trends and propose precautionary measures to protect the company's best interests

Requirements

• Form 5 / DSE / Diploma or above
• At least 4 years of debt collection experience of consumer finance product in banking and finance industry, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience
• Holder of ECF on Credit Risk Management is an advantage
• Knowledge of Non-Performing Loan management, including documentation, collateral enforcement, and litigation processes is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office Application, including Word and Excel
• Proficient in both written & spoken Chinese & English
