Job Overview

This role manages the Guest Experience team to provide exceptional service for all our guests and internal team members. Those who are passionate about managing guest inquiries, addressing any issues to ensure overall guests' experience, and providing administrative support to the team will enjoy this role.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome to the core of what being a Senior Guest Experience Manager is all about!

Here's the quick lowdown on what you'll do day-to-day:

  • Welcome designated VIPs and escort them to their accommodations
  • Assist all departments with any service lapses that may arise.
  • Run daily meetings in the absence of the Assistant Director of Guest Experience.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all hotel features, services, concepts, events daily house count etc. 
  • Empowered to make decisions in the best interest of the hotel from a sound understanding of how decisions are made, ensuring consistency.
  • Record all incidents via E-Log system to encompass.
  • Manage GEM team, provide feedback and weekly training
  • Observe and ensure that all colleagues are performing their duties in accordance with established hotel policies and procedures.
  • Perform daily walk-through throughout the hotel.
  • Report weekly accomplishments and macro issues to the Director of Guest Experience.

Requirements

Here's exactly what you need to excel in this role:

The Non-Negotiables (Must-Haves):

  • At least 3-4 years’ experience in similar position 
  • Degree holder in Hotel Management is preferred
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken Chinese and English. Excellent Front Office, Concierge knowledge.
  • Attentive to details and excellent interpersonal and communication skills

The Cherries on Top (Nice-to-Haves):

  • Good knowledge of HMS
