Assistant Manager, Human Resources (1-year contract)

Responsibilities:

• Support on core HR functions including but not limited to business partnering, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, HR compliance etc.
• Execute HR strategic initiatives, act as change agent to support business enhancing operational efficiency and raising financial performances
• Act as a vital bridge between management and employees to facilitate employee communications
• Align resources planning, policy implementation and continuous procedure improvements, to help fostering high-performing workplace culture
• Compile periodic and ad hoc management reports
• Manage onboarding, offboarding of local hires plus expatriate management
• Carry out ad hoc HR projects / initiatives on an as-needed basis

Ideal candidates are expected to possess:

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline, with HR relevant training a plus
• At least 5 years HR generalist experience with exposure to talent acquisition and HR business partnership, preferably in banking, finance, or professional industry
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, able to work with different stakeholders
• Detail-minded, self-motivated and innovative
• Multi-tasking and good at work prioritization
• A team player who is also able to work independently
• Well versed in Employment Ordinance and related regulations & guidelines
• Proficient in written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and English
