Senior Manager, Financial Accounting

Responsibilities: 

• Handle system maintenance and modifications including the booking of new financial products in OPICS and IBS in accordance with applicable accounting standards and requirements to facilitate new product launches by all group entities
• Handle system UAT related to the routine operation of FAD
• Hold oversight into treasury system accounting outcomes. Promptly resolve system processing issues and clear suspense items
• Ensure identical treasury transactions across all group entities are accounted for and disclosed consistently in financial statement and banking returns
• Handle queries from other business and supporting functions related to various financial products and routine operation of FAD
• Participate in regular and ad hoc projects and tasks and as required

Job Requirements:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines, Candidates with proven performance record in these disciplines and system implementation will also be considered
• Qualification as a qualified accountant is an advantage
• At least 8 years’ auditing or accounting experience in the banking field, of which 3 years in supervisory level
• Sound accounting and regulatory knowledge
• Good knowledge in treasury products
• Hand-on knowledge in Excel and Access
• Strong communication and presentation skills
