Manager (Corporate Actions & Transversal Operations) - Clearing & Settlement Operations

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the end-to-end management and execution of all corporate action events impacting a diverse portfolio of securities, with both local and global markets
• Ensure operation and corporate actions team cost is within the approved budget
• Participate in task training from project management 
• Provide support services on existing subject matter expert, participate and assist users cross training, migration, system migration if any
• Design and develop cross training plans
• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation and submission of all notifications and instructions, ensuring all information is accurate.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all payments and reports.
• Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all actions taken for the corporate action event.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all responses provided to customers.
• Support all corporate action-related tasks and projects, as well as ad hoc items when needed.
• Lead and work with line team to carry out migration/training  and implementation tasks according to schedule and within budget in nearshoring center
• Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity; and
• Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work

Requirements

• Degree Holder, preferably major in Banking, Economics, Finance; 
• Required over 5-10 years’ experience in banking sector cover the following:
• At least 5 years of work experience in treasury products and operational functions for corporate actions as subject matter expert:
• Skill in studying and summarizing corporate action event's information to deliver timely, comprehensive information to clients within SLA.
• Ability to search for information from various channels and communicate with relevant parties when needed.
• Ability to prioritize tasks for timely completion.
• Good understanding of Bank and Regulatory  policies, procedures, practices and rules;
• A key player with good communication skills and risk awareness;
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. 
• Project management skill is a plus
• Prior experience in Fund services, is advantageous.
