Settlement Maker / Checker (Financial Market & WM Products)

Core Responsibilities:

• Act as a Checker to oversee client investment account opening and daily settlement for multi-asset products (Derivatives, Bonds, Funds, Equities).

• Authorize and verify settlement/corporate action instructions to custodian banks via SWIFT.

• Ensure full compliance with HKMA circulars and internal SOPs; proactively report irregular payment cases.

• Perform daily Bank Reconciliation and resolve break items efficiently.

• Lead/participate in UAT and system enhancements (e.g., Avaloq/Murex upgrades).

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of Operations experience in Private Banking.

• Hands-on experience with Avaloq, Murex, or SWIFT Alliance.

• Advanced Excel VBA skills for process automation.

• Strong sense of risk control and detail-oriented.

• Immediate availability is highly preferred.
