Assistant Relationship Manager, Wealth Management

Main Job Functions:

• Support HK WM RMs and act as a bridge between WM clients, product team and internal stakeholders to deepen banking relationship and grow the WM business.
• Support WM RMs to Initiate account openings / closures / update instruction checklists and interface with client to ensure completion of documentation requirements.
• Work with WM RMs to ensure account to be opened meets the minimum WM requirements.
• Work with WM RMs to transfer small accounts to the relevant units of the branch for continuous servicing. Work with WM RMs to close out zero balance accounts with no further potentials for servicing.
• Handle day-to-day clients requests, including investment instructions, monitor funds for payment, follow up on client’s instructions, forms and deposits rollovers.
• Support WM RMs to follow up on outstanding documentation, outstanding KYCs reviews, etc.
• Ability to understand issues and appropriately escalate to Business Management team in a timely fashion.
• Develop good understanding of the governing regulatory framework, including but not limited to applicable confidentiality/secrecy/data protection regulations and cross border rules where relevant.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Commerce/ Business or a related discipline.
• 1-3 years or above of work experience, preferably from wealth management
• Good understanding of relevant local regulations and HKMA, SFC requirements.
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
• Good teamwork and able to collaborate with RMs, Operations, and multiple levels of colleagues across the branch.
