Accounting Officer - Accounts Receivable

What you will do:

  • Ensures the smooth operation and efficient running of the Accounting Department
  • Processes invoices/folios promptly and to render interim and monthly statements and follow-up letters on a timely basis
  • Ensures that all transfers to City Ledger through Night and Income Auditors do agree with the control account
  • Processes all charges and credits to City Ledger, in a timely manner
  • Ensures that all hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations relating to financial record keeping, money handling and licensing are adhered to, including the timely and accurate reporting of financial information

What you should have:

  • Ideally with a certificate in Finance or Accounting
  • Relevant working experience as Accounting Clerk in a hotel or in a similar large supply firm
  • Well-developed computer skills in the use of MS Office, email and Materials management systems
