We invite ambitious undergraduates or postgraduates who aspire to pursue a career in the banking and financial industry to apply for our summer internship programme. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to gain valuable hands-on experience and insight into our bank's structure, culture, and collaborative approach to achieving shared goals. You will also develop an understanding of the banking and financial industry, with exposure to hot topics such as GBA, ESG, technology and data.

By joining the OCBC Summer Internship Programme, you will:

• Kick off an accelerated career journey for 2 months  

• Provide daily operational support in the department to expand your banking knowledge

• Work in a group on live projects and pitch to senior management to understand business challenges and contribute to innovative solutions

• Be supported by experienced mentors and buddies to navigate team goals and excel in your role

• Build a strong regional network with fellow interns and professionals

• Gain a deeper understanding of the experience of early career starters with OCBC and potentially explore future job opportunities with the bank

Who are we looking for?

• Undergraduates or Postgraduates from all disciplines

• Passionate about the banking and financial industry

• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese, fluency in Mandarin being an advantage

• Proficient in Microsoft Office skills

• Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Open-minded and able to work with colleagues from diverse cultures
