About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and insightful Financial Market Commentator to provide timely, accurate, and engaging commentary on financial markets, investment trends, and economic developments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Produce Daily Market Content: Research, write, edit, and publish timely market commentaries, pre-market opens, daily recaps, and sector spotlights for our digital platforms.
2. Synthesize information: Monitor global and domestic financial news, economic indicators, and market data to identify key trends and stories relevant to our investors.
3. Create Light Analysis: Produce straightforward analysis pieces
4. Ensure Compliance & Accuracy: Uphold the highest standards of factual accuracy and strictly adhere to all financial regulatory and internal compliance guidelines in every piece of content.
5. Collaborate for impact: Work closely with the investment research, product, and marketing teams to align content with business goals and client interests.
6. Optimize Content: Utilize basic analytics to understand content performance and suggest improvements to increase reader engagement and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Journalism, Communications, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in financial media, fintech content role, or as an analyst/editor within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of equities, fixed income, commodities, and global economic trends.
• Exceptional writing and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex topics. Native or fluent proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin is mandatory).
• Familiarity with financial data platforms (Wind AI or AI tools, Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
