Officer, Corporate Customer Onboarding Support (Kwun Tong Office)

Responsibilities:

• As an account reviewer, assisting branches in conducting customer due diligence for new on-boarding customers and performing blacklist checking on direct customer and connected parties; ensure the branch is in full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures
• Review duly accomplished account opening forms and related supporting documents
• Conduct new account opening checking for document completeness, proper CDD/EDD and AML checks
• Seek the necessary approval for accounts classified as High Risk prior to account opening
• Ensure all documents are properly filled and managed, as well as maintained in customer information system
• Perform blacklist checking for new & existing customer
• Liaise with the branches, AML Team and internal departments to exercise client on-boarding process
• Participate in any system enhancement UAT, ad-hoc tasks & projects

Requirements:

• Degree holder with qualification of ECF-AML/CFT preferred
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in handling corporate account opening documentation, KYC role in banking sector
• Well versed with HKMA’s AML requirements & risk assessments
• Knowledge on corporate customer on-boarding is a must
• Strong interpersonal skill and able to work independently
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
• Proficient in MS Office applications including Chinese word processing
