Senior Credit Analyst/ Credit Analyst - Corporate Business Management Department

Responsibilities:

• Perform in-depth analysis on the creditworthiness of corporate and institutional clients based on financial statements, third-party industry research and other reliable sources, so as to assess the client’s industry competitive position, latest business and financial conditions as well as its overall risk/reward profile;
• Conduct comprehensive cashflow projection/scenario analysis by making justifiable assumptions on the financial parameters, so as to identify key financing risks at inception of credit application;
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers during the course of credit facility structuring, and to make recommendations to minimize the credit facility risk, wherever appropriate;
• Readily to take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the credit application report write-up as required by the role;
• Assist Relationship Managers in on-going monitoring of financial covenants and other risk indicators of credit facilities, collaboratively respond to inquiries from internal and external auditors and regulatory bodies on credit-related matters, whenever necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management or a related field;
• At least 5-8 years of direct working experience in credit analysis covering segments ranging from large local corporates, SoEs to non-bank FI clients;
• Good product knowledge in corporate & institutional banking, in particular, bilateral/syndicated loans, structured finance, assets-backed finance etc;
• Advanced analytical skills in complex financial analysis, cashflow projection/scenario analysis;
• An effective team player, proficiency in Chinese and English, with excellent communication skills and computer/office software application abilities.
