Job Responsibilities

Finance Transformation & System Implementation

  • Support the full transformation project lifecycle for the newly implemented institutional-grade trading infrastructure, including, but not limited to, system implementation, process enhancement, testing, troubleshooting and post-implementation support.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations and other business stakeholders to gather, analyze and document business requirements.
  • Participate in system configuration reviews, user acceptance testing ("UAT"), data validation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in identifying enhancement opportunities to strengthen reporting efficiency, internal controls and operational effectiveness.

General Ledger (“GL”) & Financial Reporting Support

  • Assist with GL maintenance, account mappings and chart of accounts review.
  • Perform account reconciliations and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Support financial reporting processes throughout the system transition period.
  • Assist in preparing management reports and supporting documentation as required.

Data Migration & Validation

  • Support data cleansing, validation and migration activities from legacy systems to new securities trading systems.
  • Review migrated data to ensure completeness, accuracy and integrity.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and exceptions identified during the migration process.
  • Maintain clear documentation of mapping schedules, business rules and reconciliation processes.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Serve as a primary Finance contact point for system specialists based in Mainland China.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal users, project teams, external consultants and vendors.
  • Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Provide regular project updates and escalate issues where appropriate.

Other Responsibilities

  • Support ad hoc finance duties, special projects and strategic initiatives assigned by management.
  • Assist in maintaining effective internal controls and finance operational procedures.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects within Hong Kong, Macau and the Greater Bay Area as required.


Job Requirements

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Possession of or eligibility to obtain an SFC Type 1 (Dealing in Securities) Representative License will be an advantage.
  • Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds are welcome to apply.

Experience

  • Experience in finance, accounting, securities operations or financial services is preferred.
  • Exposure to finance transformation, system implementation, ERP platforms or data migration projects will be an advantage.
  • Securities brokerage or licensed corporation experience is desirable but not mandatory.

Technical Skills

  • Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles and processes.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reconciliation functions.
  • Experience with financial systems, data mapping or reporting platforms is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.

Language & Communication Skills

  • Fluency in spoken and written Cantonese, English and Putonghua.
  • Proficiency in Putonghua is mandatory due to regular communication with system specialists in Hangzhou.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between business and technical teams.

Personal Attributes

  • Able to work in a dynamic project environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong commitment to professional excellence.

Travel Requirement

  • Willingness to travel to Macau, Hangzhou and other locations within the Greater Bay Area as business needs require.
  • Participation in project meetings, system implementation activities, training sessions and stakeholder engagements across different locations may be required.
