AVP/VP, Operations System Management Specialist (Operations Management Dept.)

Responsibilities:

Plan and manage the full product lifecycle of operational core systems and payment systems (SWIFT, FPS, CIPS, etc.), define product strategy and application architecture, and optimize system functions and business processes.
Drive the adoption and implementation of emerging Fin-tech within the operation function, including the planning, design and development of technology-enabled operation platforms.
Promote automation tools and digital solutions across operation scenarios, support end-to-end business process design and reengineering with professional system solutions.
Oversee end-to-end delivery of operation system projects, including solution design, planning, progress tracking, risk mitigation and resource coordination to ensure on-time project release.
Manage core banking operation systems including operation platforms, SWIFT and payment system as the system information owner, covering user administration, regulatory compliance and business continuity management.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Financial Technology, Financial Engineering, Information Systems Management, Business Administration or related fields. PMP / PRINCE2 or other project management certifications are highly preferred.
5+ years of project management experience in banking. In-depth knowledge of Hong Kong and China payment & clearing systems (SWIFT, FPS, CHATS, CIPS) or financial market settlement platforms (CMU, CASS, Clearstream, Euroclear, etc.) with system / business architecture design experience is a strong plus.
Structured and innovative mindset, proficient in process data analysis and process design; able to integrate fintech tools into process optimization, and translate business needs into actionable IT solutions. Hands-on experience in AI, data analytics or low-code development is desirable.
Solid understanding of banking regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering, tax compliance, operational risk and business continuity management.
Excellent communication, logical thinking and stakeholder management skills; leadership and team management experience is preferred.
Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
