Safety Officer

Responsibilities:

Responsible for implementation of the Company safety policy, and ensuring the internal safety standards are met at all assigned sites
Monitor the execution and effectiveness of safety policy to comply with legal & contractual requirements
Identify safety risks and provide remedial recommendations
Perform safety training, conduct site visit and prepare inspection report
Prepare necessary safety reports & statistics with recommendations
Handle regular safety audits and safety reviews
Attend site meeting on safety issues
Monitor the implementation, effectiveness and efficiency of the established site safety management system
Discharge full statutory duties of a Safety Officer in accordance with FIU(SO&SS)R and contract specifications

Requirements:

Registered Safety Officer (RSO) under FIU(SO&SS)R; AND
Registered Safety Auditor (RSA) under FIU(SM)R; AND
Minimum 9 years’ experience in leading a safety team, specifically for term maintenance contracts.
