About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within F&B Service Division in Hong Kong, the Assistant Manager - The Aubrey is responsible for assisting the Manager on daily operation, monitoring  and supervise the general colleagues, assist the Manager on business marketing planning, organize special events, achieve the financial target, take a role in the absence of Manager.  The Assistant Manager - The Aubrey reports to the Restaurant Manager.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Supervise a smooth daily operation and support in administration
• Understand guests’ needs and deliver excellent service and professional recommendation via effective communication
• Deliver a delighted Japanese modern fine dining experience to our guests
• Handle guest complaints and comments during the absence of the managers
• Provides professional development to colleagues and leading the team to achieve departmental goal and total guests' satisfaction
• Follow and apply the HACCP and hygiene standards at all times
• Liaise with kitchen team on a daily basis
• Assist the Restaurant General Manager in other ad hoc projects as assigned

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, we expect from you:

• Minimum 3 years' working experience in modern fine dining at similar capacity
• Good managerial and interpersonal skills
• Passion in customer service and hospitality industry
• Willing to learn and able to work under pressure
• International exposure will be an advantage
• Excellent communication skills and fluent in Cantonese and English, knowledge in Putonghua is a plus
