Individual Client Account Opening Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual client account opening and post opening reviews in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with KYC and AML requirements and data accuracy in systems
• Review client documents, perform risk assessments and identify issues requiring escalation
• Maintain and update client information and records in systems
• Complete assigned cases on time and meet agreed target strictly
• Work closely with the Sales and Back Office teams to follow up pending information and documents
• Support periodic reviews, regulatory exercises, and remediation projects when required
• Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above.  Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Risk Management, or related disciplines is preferred
• 1 to 3 years of experience in individual account opening process within the brokerage or banking industry is preferred.  Fresh graduates with relevant internship or part-time experience will also be considered
• Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy in document review and data entry
• Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Chinese word processing
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin
• Effectively using AI is preferred
