The successful candidate will play a key part in supporting the evaluation, execution, and monitoring of strategic investments and divestments. Responsibilities include conducting financial analysis and valuation of investment opportunities, preparing Board and management materials, supporting transaction execution, and performing business performance reviews and benchmarking. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, joint venture partners, and external advisors to facilitate investment activities, research market and company information, assist with investor relations materials, and contribute to ad hoc strategic and financial projects that support business growth and decision-making.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead or assist in the assessment of proposed new investments and divestments, and review the value of existing investments.
  • Lead or assist in the preparation of Board meeting materials.
  • Lead or assist in the execution of investment and divestment transactions.
  • Lead or assist in business performance reviews and benchmarking exercises.
  • Liaise internally across various departments and externally with professional advisors and consultants for information gathering and transaction execution.
  • Research financial and company information of joint venture/associate partners and peer group companies.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of investor relations materials.
  • Conduct ad hoc research and undertake special projects of a financial nature as required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 8-9 years of relevant work experience in one or more of the following areas: Private Equity, Property / Real Estate, Fund Management, Accounting, Consulting, Corporate Finance, Equity Research
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA or CFA are advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Strong analytical skills with sound financial and commercial acumen.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal is preferred.
