HASE Business Risk and Resilience under Chief Operating Office (‘COO’)

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Business Risk and Control Manager, reporting to Head of RBW Risk and Control.

Principal responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for supporting RBW on Risk & Control, Risk Governance, Risk Advisory and Policy Implementation
• This role also has a Data, Technology, Information Security risk focus and has been working closely with HK based SMEs like in DAO and IT in risk management activities requiring Line of Business support or steer
• Active collaboration and engagement with many stakeholders including RBW Product Heads to working level colleagues, COO/CIO Office colleagues
• High volume, fast paced activities requiring management of shifting priorities, emerging issues, incidents

Requirements

• Degree-qualified, with experience in banking or financial services and a demonstrated track record in risk and control management.
• Strong expertise in Data, Technology and Information Security risk, including identifying, assessing and mitigating key risks.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal), with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise messages for varied audiences.
• High ownership mindset, with sound judgement, strong decision-making and well-developed critical thinking skills.
• Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
