Responsibilities
- Assist the department in keeping abreast of all relevant regulatory requirements and assessing the impact on business and operations;
- Responsible for investment products/service and third party product providers onboarding for all investment products that are distributed across various Bank sales channels (including, but not limited to, product paper approval and risk assessment);
- Responsible for the Bank’s regular review on investment product risk rating assessment model, investment products and third party product providers;
- Work with distribution channels and second line of defense to set up investment product distribution workflow;
- Participate in strategic project to act as the subject matter expert to provide input from risk and compliance perspective;
- Products covered by the team include Mutual Funds, Alternative Investments, Linked Deposits, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Structured Products, and Discretionary Portfolio Management strategies;
- Ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of existing procedures, policies, and guidelines of the Bank concerning investment products;
Requirements
- University graduate, preferably major in business administration, accounting, economic or finance;
- Minimum 5 years of banking experience, with exposure to investment products is preferred;
- Passed HKSI Paper 1, 7, 8 is preferred;
- Knowledge of relevant rules and regulations will be advantageous;
- Willing to work under pressure;
- Self-motivated, positive, presentable and responsible;
- Good spoken and written English, Chinese and fluent Mandarin being an advantage
