Responsibilities:
1. Distribution Strategy and Development
- Collaborate with the Legacy Planning Director to develop and implement business strategies that drive sustainable top-line growth.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, including cross-selling and upselling wealth management solutions, with a focus on estate and legacy planning and premium financing solutions.
- Support agency development activities by providing expertise in these specialised areas, helping to expand service offerings and client base.
- Lead and support projects related to distribution strategy and HNW value proposition as assigned.
2. Client Relationship Management and Case Management
- Deliver personalised financial strategies that integrate with clients' wealth and legacy planning structures with insurance solutions to secure clients' wealth across generations.
- Provide expert advice on premium financing solutions for clients seeking to optimise large insurance premiums and leverage innovative funding strategies.
- Act as the subject matter expert on HNW case management and central point of coordination between internal product/operation teams and sales channels, ensuring smooth case processing and a seamless end-to-end client experience.
3. Legacy Planning & Premium Financing Expertise
- Develop and execute strategy on Premium Financing solutions, advising clients on financing large insurance premiums, structuring cases to optimise financial leverage and asset protection.
- Stay abreast of evolving regulations and market trends in these specialised domains, ensuring the office provides cutting-edge advice and solutions.
- Proactively develop and strengthen competitive bank partner relationships, liaising with existing and prospective bank partners to negotiate preferred loan terms and onboard new products onto their premium financing offerings.
4. Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all operations and client advisory activities, especially related to trusts, corporate structures, and premium financing, comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Monitor and mitigate operational, legal, and reputational risks associated with complex wealth planning strategies.
5. Channel Engagement & Enablement
- Proactively engage and equip sales channels with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively promote HNW products and the Ecosystem of Value-Added Services (VAS), including legacy planning and Premium Financing solutions.
- Build strong rapport and influence with channel partners, enabling them to confidently support and execute various sales initiatives and strategies on HNW segment.
6. Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
- Provide ongoing training and updates to the agency team on trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in HNW insurance and premium financing solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop innovative services and strategic initiatives in these areas.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related discipline.
- 8-12+ years of experience in insurance distribution or HNW wealth management segment, with a proven track record of achieving business growth and developing strategic partnerships.
- Strong experience handling complex, high-value insurance cases; deep understanding of HNW client needs and wealth structures.
- Relevant regulatory licenses (e.g., Insurance Authority Papers 1, 3, and 5) are preferred.
- Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and computer skills including PowerPoint & Excel.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
