Risk Officer (Product Control & Reporting) - Market & Liquidity Risk

Responsibilities

• Conduct price verification on financial products
• Conduct profit & loss analytic / attribution on financial products
• Responsible for the assessment of the valuation adjustment, off-market rate checking, Hedge Accounting
• Participate in various projects on financial products
• Assist in system maintenance / implementation

Requirements

• University graduate in Risk Management, Statistics, Economics, Quantitative Analysis, Finance, Accounting OR relevant Professional Qualification
• 1-2 years of working experience from banking industry is an advantage
• Proficiency in VBA, SQL related analytic tools
• Knowledge in the banking industry, accounting and financial product analytical skill is preferred
• Good attention to details, able to work under pressure and independently
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, Putonghua preferable
• Pro-active and mature
• Holder of Treasury Markets Association (“TMA”) Membership for relevant practitioner. HKIB qualification is also an advantage
• Existing relevant practitioner without TMA membership as of 1 January 2019, are expected to pass the examinations within 3 years
• For new joiners who are classified as a relevant practitioner and without TMA membership, will be expected to pass the examinations within 3 years from the date of joining the Department
• Recent graduates with relevant academic background and demonstrated strong learning abilities will also be considered
