Team Lead, Information Management (Corporate Banking)

Job Duties:

• Team Leadership & Performance: Lead and guide a small team of analysts in delivering high-quality financial analysis and business performance evaluations for corporate banking business units.
• KPI Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to set, monitor, and evaluate performance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the corporate sales team.
• Stakeholder & Senior Communication: Serve as the primary bridge to communicate financial insights, MIS requirements, and performance data effectively between senior management and the sales team.
• Meeting Facilitation: Chair middle-level department meetings to align business units, review financial/income/cost performance, and drive strategic initiatives.
• Asset & Liability Management: Oversee and participate in asset and liability management information analysis, data projection, and management presentations.
• MIS & Reporting: Maintain timely and accurate MIS records; prepare and present robust MIS reports to management, head office, and other core stakeholders.
• Pricing & Control: Stipulate interest pricing for the corporate business while maintaining and executing the related monitoring and budget control mechanisms.

​Requirements:

• Education & Qualifications: Degree holder or above in Accounting or Finance. Professional qualifications in accounting or being a CFA charterholder is an absolute advantage.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in the banking or accounting industry, with solid exposure to asset and liability management in the banking sector.
• Leadership & Communication: Proven track record of leading small teams, with excellent communication and presentation skills tailored for senior management and sales teams.
• Core Competencies:
  • Demonstrated ability to chair middle-level business meetings and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Sound knowledge of corporate banking and a deep understanding of underlying revenue and expense drivers.
  • Ability to scrutinize large quantities of data to provide accurate, high-quality management information across different dimensions.
  • Highly numerically sensitive with strong computer and database management literacy.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua is a definite advantage.
