Responsibilities:
Manage workflow deficiencies, update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and supervise the daily operations of the credit administration team.
Manage and monitor all credit approval processes, and to ensure that facility and security documents are completed in accordance with the bank’s guidelines.
Authorize input of facilities limits in system. Control the credit files and ensure that all credit files are adequately organized and up to date. Be responsible for the safe keeping of the original facility and security documents.
Liaise with other departments, branches and solicitors’ firms for all credit administration matters, such as mortgage of properties and legal actions against borrowers, etc.
Monitor and register collaterals (e.g., mortgages, guarantees) with relevant government authorities, such as the Land Registry or Companies Registry.
Prepare statutory reports, ensure compliance with local regulations, and assist in addressing internal/external audit observations.
Handle ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned by Branch Management.
Requirements:
Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines;
Relevant working experience and knowledge of banking for minimum 8 years is preferable;
Attentive to details with good communication and organizational skills;
Eager to learn and able to work independently.
Holder of professional certificate under the ECF/ QF/ issued by any industry institutes, professional bodies will be an advantage definitely
