(Senior) Technical Services Manager (Storage Solutions) - IT Infrastructure & Operations

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the bank's infrastructure platforms, focusing on modernization, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. 
• Provide technical and direction to a team responsible for the 24/7 operation of critical platform services in align with Bank Standard. 
• Manage the lifecycle of all platform technologies, from procurement and deployment to maintenance and decommissioning. 
• Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure platform performance and reliability meet business needs. 
• Administer and support SAN, NAS, and cloud storage environments
• Automate storage management tasks using scripting and other tools
• Ensure data integrity and security across storage platforms
• Perform data backup and recovery operations
• Optimize storage systems for efficiency and performance
• Develop and maintain documentation for storage procedures and configurations
• Manage the enterprise storage environment including provisioning, performance monitoring, replication, and disaster recovery strategies. 
• Enterprise Capacity Plan & Management: Provide well plan and effective capacity management to meet the Bank requirements. 
• Lead complex infrastructure projects, including platform upgrades, migrations, and cloud adoption initiatives. 
• Implement and enforce rigorous change, incident, and problem management processes for all platform services. 
• Ensure all infrastructure platforms comply with bank security policies, regulatory standards, and disaster recovery requirements. 
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to platform technologies. 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure and storage area. 
• Proven hands-on expertise in storage, backup solution and different bands and models. 
• Relevant industry certifications like EMC, NetApp, or similar storage-related credentials
• Proficiency in storage management tools and software
• Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Security & Compliance: A strong understanding of infrastructure security best practices and experience operating in a regulated environment. 
• Leadership & People Management: Excellent leadership skills with a proven ability to mentor, develop, and manage a high-performing technical team. 
• Strategic Planning: Ability to develop strategic roadmaps, manage budgets, and articulate technology plans to senior management. 
• Problem-Solving: Superior analytical and root-cause analysis skills for complex technical issues. 
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese + Mandarin)
