Officer, Settlement Operations

Job Responsibilities

• Input payment instructions of equity security and fund settlement

• Handle corporate action of stock, stock option and fund

• Monitor balance of the bank’s omnibus account

• Perform daily reconciliation of equity security

• Execute other WM operations tasks such as IPO subscription, stock transfer, shareholders meeting application etc.

• Liaise with business and product team to solve production issue

• Back up support the bank’s other settlement functions, e.g. Treasury FX/MM/DERIV, Credit Card, Remittance etc.

• Participate in projects on new process/service development, automation of exiting process and system enhancement

• Support ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration or related disciplines

• Minimum 1 year of bank or securities firm’s settlement/remittance working experience is preferred

• Pleasant personality with good interpersonal and communication skills

• Attentive to details and willing to learn

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office e.g. MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Chinese Word Processing

• Good command of verbal and written English and Chinese including Putonghua
