Research Analyst

We are seeking an experienced analyst to lead the coverage of Chinese Financial and Commodities sectors.  This role will report to Head of Research directly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive, bottom-up fundamental research on a dedicated portfolio of companies across Financials (e.g., banks & insurance) and Commodities (e.g., metals & mining)
• Build company specific and industry financial models
• Provide timely insights and investment recommendations to sales and clients
• Motivate and guide team members
• Participate in ad-hoc project assigned by Head of Research and Management

Requirements

• Degree holder in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related disciplines
• At least 4 years’ experience as a writing analyst 
• Demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, lateral thinking, and judgement
• Ability to work under pressure and process reports within short time-frame
• Excellent communication skills and fluent in both English and Mandarin
• Effectively using AI is preferred
