We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Manager, Local Payment and Infrastructure

Principal responsibilities

  • Own and deliver retail payments initiatives, ensure quality deliverables and outcome which meet internal and external customers’ requirements.
  • Define and execute product strategy and KPIs that improve customer experience, drive adoption and revenue, streamline end-to-end journeys, sustain business growth and competitiveness of retail payment products and services.
  • Lead product lifecycle management from discovery and business case through delivery, launch and post-launch performance optimization, ensuring clear value propositions, measurable outcome and continuous monitoring for improvement.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders across the business to manage initiatives to address the changing customer and business needs.
  • Drive customer centric digital payment journey.  Enrich customer engagement via commercialization of payment capabilities and throughout customer lifecycle.
  • Monitor, analyze and review trends across local and international payment market to identify opportunities/risks and translate insights into product actions 
  • Prepare strategy papers, business proposals and reports for senior management including market insights, product roadmap, financial impact, risk and delivery status.
  • Keep abreast of the latest compliance requirements of the Group, Bank and regulatory authorities, initiate necessary internal and external communication plan, internal procedural and system changes.

Requirements

  • University Degree or other relevant post graduate qualification
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in retail product management or related, prior experience in digital, payment, platform development or multi-functional projects would be an asset
  • Product owner demonstrates strong project management capability, outcome focus with adaptability and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Numerate, positive, flexible and self-motivated individual
  • Strong business acumen and analytic skills, able to navigate conflicting priorities
  • Shown strong situation awareness, strong desire to learn and able to work in Agile environment
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese
