About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Food & Beverage Service Division in Hong Kong, the F&B Assistant - Terrace Boulud is responsible for providing quality service in a friendly, natural, courteous manner and always be attentive. The F&B Assistant - Terrace Boulud reports to the Restaurant Manager - Terrace Boulud.

As F&B Assistant, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Prepare mise-en-place
• Deliver a delighted dining experience to our guests
• Create special moments and provide seamless service with guests
• Make recommendations on the choice of menu items with good product knowledge
• Meet and greet guest in a professional manner
• Maintain neatness and cleanliness of the restaurant
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the department head from time to time

As F&B Assistant, we expect from you:

• With relevant working experience in similar capacity in hotel Food & Beverage, preferably with pre-opening experience in a luxury hotel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command in spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese communication
• Passionate in customer service and hospitality industry
