About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Mandarin Grill / Terence Boulud Kitchen in Hong Kong, the Chef de Partie is responsible for to assist the Sous Chef with the daily working requirements and the smooth running of the operation and displayed as mandated by the Sous Chef in order to acquire maximum customer satisfaction and profitability. Junior Chef de Partie reports to the Chef de Cusine orSous Chef.

As Chef de Partie , you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in and around all culinary work areas and clean their stations after every service
• Follow procedure and ensure safe and proper use of equipment at all times and to instruct this to all culinary associates
• Adhere to all the standards of food handling, production, preparation, portioning and presentation

As Chef de Partie , we expect from you:

• 5 years relevant experience in similar capacity with Fine Dining experience;
• Self-motivated and responsible;
• Independent and able to work under pressure;
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Junior Chef de Partie.
