Senior Manager / Manager, Trade Financing Product

Job Purpose:

To develop trade financing product for Corporate Banking Division including setting up product guidelines, implementation of procedures, system review and provide guidance on trade financing products to marketing teams.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Co-ordinate on operational set-up, guideline, documentation and procedural workflow with different stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and compliance
• Work with IT on integration and enhancement of trade system for enhancing customer experience and portfolio monitoring
• Update product pricing guideline and enhance efficiency through streamline of trade financing product workflow
• Arrange trainings to marketing departments for thorough understanding of trade financing including business opportunities, enhancement of security position, accounting and financial arrangement, and legal and documentation aspect
• Keep update on market developments including new products initiatives and competitors’ strategies
• Work closely with Credit Department and Trade Operation team to ensure proper credit & procedural guideline in place to facilitate business growth and on-going risk monitoring to minimize potential loss of bad debt

Requirements:

• University graduate with minimum 10 years' experience in trade financing field and UCP guidelines (Candidate with less experience will be considered as Manager)
• HKIB Certified Banker would be an advantage
• Holder of ECF Certification (CPFinT(M) or CPFinT(A)) would be an advantage
• Extensive knowledge in trade & factoring products including selling & structuring technique, collateral control & portfolio management
• Strong marketing sense and sound networking skills to ensure smooth implementing and monitoring of business development
• In-depth knowledge of the principles, practices and credit risk management techniques on Trade & Factoring
• Solid experience in formulating business strategies for achieving business targets
• Strong leadership skill and experience in coaching junior team member to ensure quality services to all stakeholders
