Part-Time Translator

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Translator. The primary responsibility of this role is to translate research reports and analytical materials from English into Chinese with precision, speed and consistency. 

Responsibilities:

• Translate research reports, and other written materials from English to Chinese (and vice versa) while maintaining accuracy, tone, and intent
• Ensure translations meet professional standards and align with the organization’s style and terminology
• Review and edit AI translated content to ensure linguistic quality and factual consistency
• Work closely with analysts, and editors to clarify technical terms or contextual meanings
• Support documentation, proofreading, and cross-language content checks as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Journalism, or a related discipline
• Prior experience in translating English-to-Chinese research reports, academic materials, or business content would be an advantage
• Native-level proficiency in Chinese and advanced command of English
• Strong understanding of financial, economic, or academic research terminology is preferred
• Proficiency with translation tools and software is an advantage
• Effectively using AI is preferred
