Assistant Sales Manager – MICE

Job Responsibilities:

  • Actively source and secure MICE business from local and international markets, with a strong focus on emerging markets;
  • Build and maintain relationships with professional associations to secure annual conferences, congresses, and meetings;
  • Support the development and execution of strategic sales plans, including client entertainment, site inspections, and post-event follow-ups;
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and recommend sales action;
  • Work closely with internal operation departments, i.e. Banquets/Conference Services, and Finance to ensure smooth event conversion and delivery;
  • Assist with reporting, forecasting, and maintaining accurate account activity and pipeline tracking.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in hotel sales (preferably MICE) or event sales in a related industry;
  • Strong sales mindset, with ability to build relationships and manage the MICE sales cycle;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple prioritie;
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus;
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings/site inspections as required.
