AI Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and technically strong AI Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience in software development and foundational exposure to AI/ML technologies. You will contribute to designing, building, and deploying AI-driven solutions that support business operations and digital transformation initiatives across the organisation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain AI/ML models, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, training, evaluation, and optimisation.
• Support end‑to‑end AI solution delivery, from prototyping to production deployment using internal platforms or cloud services (Azure / AWS / GCP).
• Implement machine learning pipelines, automation scripts, and integration components using Python or other relevant languages.
• Collaborate with business units to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and AI use cases.
• Work closely with data engineers to ensure data quality, pipeline stability, and model scalability.
• Monitor and improve model performance through continuous retraining, tuning, and lifecycle management.
• Conduct research and stay updated on AI/ML technologies, generative AI frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Prepare technical documentation, design specs, and operational run books for AI solutions.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• ~3 years of experience in software development or Analyst Programmer roles, with exposure to AI/ML preferred.
• Solid programming skills in Python (preferred) or Java/Scala/C#.
• Familiar with popular machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn, or Hugging Face libraries.
• Experience with data processing tools (e.g., Pandas, SQL, Spark) is an advantage.
• Understanding of machine learning concepts (supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, model evaluation).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure Machine Learning, AWS Sagemaker, GCP Vertex AI) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD practices, and API integrations.
• Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
