Location: Hong Kong

Scope:

We are seeking fresh graduates to join our growing business valuation team in our Hong Kong office. As an analyst, you will gain broad exposure to a diverse range of industries, working with both listed and private clients to address various valuation requirements. Our business valuation services include:

• Conducting valuations for financial reporting purposes, including equity investments, tangible and intangible assets, and financial instruments
• Providing valuation support for transaction purposes, such as potential acquisitions and disposals of businesses
• Advising companies and stakeholders on valuation-related matters and best practices

What you will be doing?

Analysts will work as a team in general, with our director, managers and other senior analysts. You are expected to:

• Analyze financial information: Analyze historical and forecasted financial information provided by clients to support valuation and consulting projects
• Conduct industry research: Conduct research on comparable financial data, business trends, and industry information relevant to each engagement
• Support valuation modeling: Assist senior colleagues in constructing valuation models and compiling comprehensive valuation reports
• Prepare analysis for stakeholders: Prepare valuation analysis and supporting materials for discussions and negotiations with clients and other stakeholders
• Assist with client materials: Assist in preparing proposals and presentation materials for potential valuation and consulting opportunities
• Engage with clients and professionals: Build relationships and maintain direct contact with existing and prospective clients, as well as other professional teams such as sponsors, auditors, financial advisors, and lawyers
• Collaborate with the team: Work closely with directors, managers, and senior analysts to deliver high-quality valuation and consulting services to clients

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, a background in finance or accounting is highly preferred
• Self-driven and collaborative, with the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Excellent command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, both written and spoken
• Genuine interest in business valuation and advisory services
• Strong research capabilities, financial modeling proficiency, and analytical thinking
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Prior experience in valuation or related fields is an advantage
• Flexibility and willingness to travel for short business trips to mainland China as needed
