About the Role
As an Assistant Manager - Nadaman, you will be focusing on delivering exceptional dining experiences by ensuring timely, courteous and professional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Restaurant and collaborate with the Chef on promotion, menus, budgets, and staff training.
- Lead and motivate the Team to deliver exceptional service aligned with Hotel standards and exceed guest expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement by introducing innovative ideas and recommending service enhancements.
- Review guest feedback, critique forms, logbooks on operational issues and P&L statements.
- Ensure all materials, equipment and machinery are properly used and regularly cleaned for prolong usage.
- Ensure general maintenance of sections appointed and follow-up on work order forms with the Engineering Team.
- Ensure all staff are aware of and apply the procedures concerning Hotel fire and life safety / emergency procedures.
About You
- At least 5 years of experience in restaurants at prestigious Hotels or organizations, with minimum 3 years in Japanese restaurant.
- Sound knowledge of food and beverages and strong sense of market trends.
- Demonstrated integrity, trustworthiness, reliability, responsibility and accountability.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin), advanced spoken Japanese would be an advantage.
