The job holder will assist in planning and executing the Bank's corporate communications strategy to elevate and safeguard its brand image and reputation, maximize positive media exposure, support business growth and build thought leadership. You will oversee media relations, stakeholder engagement, crisis and issues management, community and CSR initiatives, while driving consistent brand messaging across all internal and external communications channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and executive effective corporate communication strategies aligned with the Bank's strategic priorities to enhance brand positioning and awareness, while supporting business growth.
- Build and maintain strong and strategic relationships with key media outlets through diverse and strategic tactics.
- Lead crisis and issues management by implementing incident response protocols for reputational, regulatory, and market-related incidents, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant communications to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Implement CSR and community initiatives to reinforce the Bank's commitment to social responsibility, amplifying impact through external and internal channels.
- Identify speaking opportunities for executives and develop thought leadership content to position the Bank and its leadership as trusted voices in the industry.
- Monitor KPIs for communication effectiveness – including media AVE (Advertising Value Equivalent), engagement metrics, sentiment analysis etc - and prepare regular reports with insights.
Requirements:
- Over 10 years of Corporate Communications experience in sizeable organizations, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
- Proficient in using AI tools for content creation.
- A team player with can do attitude.
- Excellent command of Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
