Responsibilities

  • Assist the Duty Engineer / Technician in supervising the daily operations of the Engineering Department such as Installations, routine and preventive maintenance works.
  • Assist to manage contractors and coordinate with other departments in carrying out routine maintenance and repairing.
  • Assist to prepare monthly department roaster and manpower.
  • Assist in monitoring engineering tools, stock levels, hotel routine operations.
  • Assist to manage the engineering Log Book daily and take the corrective action.
  • To assess safety and health risks in the work place and take necessary precautions
  • To prepare schedule to execute repair / maintenance works accordingly.
  • Reporting to the Chief Engineer / Assistant Chief Engineer
  • Provide 24/7 emergency repair response

Requirements

  • Diploma or above in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Holder of Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card)
  • At least 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in hospitality industry is an advantage.
  • Holder of Electrical Worker License of Grade A or above is preferable
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Must be a team player.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Less experience will be considering as Assistant Facilities Officer.
