Data Management & Governance, organised under Transformation & Data, is the implementation of enabling infrastructures, policies, practices and procedures that allow the organisation to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of data.

Responsibilities

·Lead the development and implementation of AI governance policies and frameworks to ensure the ethical, safe and compliant use of AI across the organization

·Lead to develop standards, controls, procedures and accountability frameworks for data governance implementation across the organization

·Evaluate AI use cases and provide advice to use-case teams on use-case specific governance

·Engage stakeholders across business and technology units to foster a culture of responsible AI, and advise on governance best practices

·Track emerging data regulations and trends to maintain a compliant and contemporary data governance program

·Oversee processes for improving data quality, cataloging, and metadata management

Requirements

·Degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, or data science

·5+ years of working experience in data governance / management, risk management or regulatory compliance

·Strong understanding of AI technologies such as machine learning, deep learning, GenAI and Agentic AI

·Expert knowledge of data privacy regulations and emerging AI governance standards

·Excellent communication and strong leadership, problem-solving and project management skills 

·Confident working in cross-functional, collaborative environments

·Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
