Vice President, Relationship Manager, Financial Sponsor Coverage

Responsibilities: 

• Manage relationship coverage for designated financial sponsor clients, enhance wallet share across sponsors and relevant portfolio companies through the formulation and execution of strategic account plans and banking services
• Proactively identify sponsor-led financing opportunities and collaborate with internal specialists to deliver integrated solutions  
• Lead end-to-end credit approval processes, including transaction structuring, credit risk assessment, and ensuring adherence to client timelines  
• Conduct ongoing portfolio monitoring and implement strong post-lending management to prevent deterioration and non-performing exposures  
• Ensure KYC is properly maintained and manage the portfolio in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies and controls
• Coach and support junior team members to strengthen execution quality, productivity, and professional capabilities

Ideal candidates are expected to possess: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic qualification  
• At least 6 years’ relevant experience in Corporate/ Institutional Banking coverage and/ or leveraged/ acquisition finance
• Demonstrated execution experience in acquisition finance, leveraged finance, and/ or M&A-related financing transactions  
• Sound knowledge of corporate banking products and solutions, with proven credit evaluation and risk analysis capabilities
• Strong KYC/ AML discipline, including experience overseeing and/ or managing KYC processes as part of relationship coverage responsibilities  
• Customer-focused and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)

Candidates with less relevant experiences may be considered as Assistant Vice President.
