Job Responsibilities
As an assistant manager in our Innovation and Payment Team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and execution of our card, remittance products and payment innovation strategies. Your key responsibilities will include:
Support Strategy Development : Assist the Director in formulating and refining business strategies for card, remittance products and payment solutions, contributing insights from market trends and customer needs.
Product & Project Support : Contribute to card, remittance product development and digital project initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer expectations.
Cross-Functional Coordination : Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Risk) and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of card feature maintenance and enhancement projects.
Regulatory Compliance Support : Assist in ensuring card and remittance products comply with relevant regulations (e.g., HKMA guidelines, PCI DSS) and support responses to regulatory inquiries.
Data Analysis & Reporting : Track and analyze program performance data, generate insights, and prepare reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Pricing & Growth Support : Contribute to pricing strategy proposals and support initiatives to foster strategic partnerships and expand the customer base.
Job Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., in payments or fintech) are a plus.
Experience : 3-4 years of relevant experience in the banking or fintech industry, with a focus on payment products, card services, or digital banking.
Compliance & Risk Knowledge : Basic understanding of the regulatory environment for payment products (e.g., HKMA, PCI DSS) and experience supporting interactions with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams.
Project & Communication Skills : Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with diverse stakeholders.
