Senior Systems Development Manager (Message Notification Gateway) - Personal Banking & Wealth Management Technology Department

Responsibilities

• Perform project management functions - manage the development and maintenance of relevant systems
• Manage and consolidate the technical costs from different parties and application vendor for the projects/Change Requests.
• Conduct feasibility study for prospective projects
• Assist in the evaluation of software and hardware products
• Assist in the administration of application development team
• Plan and monitor the work of Senior Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, Senior Analyst/Programmer, Analyst/Programmer and Programmer
• Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity; and
• Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work
• Perform any other duties as directed by supervisor

Requirements

• University graduate in Computer Science or equivalent
• Preferable over 8 years’ experience in system development covering the following:
• Experience in large scale project management and development;
• Experience in banking applications;
• Knowledge in System Development Life Cycle and\or Agile Methodology
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in telecommunication applications is an added advantage
• Fluency in English and Chinese required
