Responsibilities
- Lead a team to oversee business planning and merchant risk control
Business Planning
- Support in business analysis, strategic planning, action plan design, execution tracking and performance review
- Prepare high-impact reports, dashboards and briefings to provide direction for senior management
- Review analyzed data from various sources to support business initiatives and performance tracking
- Cross-functional collaboration with various business units to coordinate regular review and drive key initiatives forward
- Formulate and monitor business plans including strategic initiatives to drive the business growth
- Prepare various business reports and strategic papers to facilitate management decision on a regular and ad-hoc basis
Risk Control
- Oversee pre-trade and post-trade controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standard
- Host governance meetings to discuss and sort out compliance issue, risk management and operational efficiencies.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with existing business practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential issues and areas for improvement
- Study new regulations to enhance the current compliance controls and identify proper actions for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and improvements in business control.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in business, strategic planning, project or risk management experience
- Familiar with payment system architecture
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirement, industry best practice and risk management practice
- Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities, great sense of ownership and servicing mindset
- Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) to articulate solutions to different stakeholders
