Responsibilities:
- Implement strategy plans set out by the department to penetrate appropriate customer segments via Bancassurance and Brokerage channel to drive a balance product mix and achieve business growth
- Perform sales activities of life insurance including but not limited to product selling, after sales service, renewal and claims follow-up for the development of new business and retain existing business as well
- Proactively communicate and establish good relationship with business partners and internal stakeholders to ensure business & processes alignment, also drive desired results of life insurance business
- Collaborate with the Relationship Managers of Retail and Corporate Banking to explore and develop insurance business opportunities of the Bank’s customers for achieving the assigned sales targets
- Perform regular visits and provide professional mentorship to frontline whenever appropriate to establish business growth and maximize new business opportunities
- Enlarge the total number of referrals and motivate the scale to eventually develop to high-net-worth and untapped customer market
- Ensure the selling processes are in compliance with the Bank's policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
- Monitor and maintain good records for life insurance referral & business performance, closely follow up with status, generate reports for the Management as needed
- Provide support on the onboarding process for premium financing & obtain gatekeepers clearance to comply with relevant regulatory requirements
- Assist in ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned by the superior
Requirements:
- University graduate with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry, preferably with banking and/broker experience
- Proven insurance sales experience will be a definite advantage
- Sound knowledge of life insurance products, premium financing, underwriting processes, and regulatory requirements
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, negotiation, and problem solving skills, with good understanding of the Bancassurance/ brokerage market
- Ensure sales quality, compliance and regulatory requirements are met
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
- Proficiency in using MS Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
