Trainee, Policy & Advisory (AML and Sanction Control Centre)

Responsibilities:

Data Asset Management：

• Collect, validate, and coordinate AML-related data from diverse sources to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for seamless cross-system data flow

• Establish and enforce robust data governance frameworks to ensure full compliance with regulatory standards

Data Analysis and Application：

• Perform in-depth analysis of AML data to detect trends, patterns, and anomalies indicative of suspicious activity

• Develop and deploy advanced analytical and machine-learning models to strengthen transaction monitoring and detection capabilities

• Partner closely with AML investigators to deliver actionable insights and support investigation and case management processes

AML System Development and Maintenance：

• Design, development, and deployment of AML systems and tools, including AI-driven solutions

• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure reliability and efficiency

• Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous system improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology (IT), Finance, Economics, Risk Management or related discipline

• Analytical skills in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning

• Familiar with common tools for data analysis, such as Python, SQL, Tableau and Power BI

• Self-motivated, able to work independent, analytical mind and good writing skills

• Good team player with sound communication and interpersonal skills
