RBW Transformation and Business Architect
RBW Transformation and Business Architect is a team of change agents who strive for designing, developing, and delivering customer-focused products and journeys with sustainable value. Key responsibilities cover the below areas:
- Translating business strategy into action by framing business challenges into clear objectives and applying architectural principles to design practical solutions.
- Driving broad, multi-disciplinary and front to back transformations across lending, wealth, insurance, payment and transaction banking, data, propositions, omni-channel and regulatory initiatives
- Shaping recommendation through root cause analysis, customer journey mapping, design thinking and pros and cons analysis of how something being built
- Delivering initiatives according to roadmap, KPI (Key Performance Indicators) and OKR (Objectives and Key Results) . Continually refining and optimizing design and delivery, and driving ongoing improvement alongside Product Owner and Risk Stewards
- Transforming the ways of working and share best practices across all value streams, to optimize outcome, cost and speed of delivery
- Establishing proper governance, roles and responsibilities, resolve blockers/ risk and issues, track costs and benefits, to enable funding and decision prioritization
- Providing the blueprint and framework that guide HASE RBW towards the target future state architecture, ensuring initiatives are consistently designed and aligned to capability direction.
Should you join RBW Transformation and Business Architect, you will work closely with our product and channel owners, and function teams, as well as the regional and Group offices. You will gain exposure to shaping and leading the strategic project for Retail Banking and Wealth
We are currently seeking high caliber professional to join our department as Senior Business Transformation Manager under Retail Banking & Wealth (RBW) - Transformation & Business Architect team.
Principal responsibilities
- Assist RBW to drive the development of business and transformation strategies in achieving the Group’s and Bank’s business goals
- Coordinate and drive cross-RBW transformation programmes/initiatives e.g. strategic review, digital, technology, automation and operational review, from strategies/initiatives formation to implementation and commercialization
- Act as Deputy PMO Lead to govern the end-to-end RBW strategy & transformation programmes/initiatives delivery, from investment case development to funding allocation, delivery risks and controls monitoring, and portfolio delivery governance
- Provide internal consultancy to identify opportunities in transformation and process streamlining to support business growth, enhance customer experience, improve work efficiency and effectiveness
- Manage onshore and offshore parties to deliver as a single team
Requirements
- University graduate in Business Administration or related discipline
- Seasoned financial services professional with at least 8 years' experience in banking, preferably with strategy development, process transformation / consultancy, and Retail Banking and Wealth experience
- Proven record of effective project and program management, including project planning and decision making, identifying priorities, enforcing program governance, managing resources, management reporting and bringing a wide range of projects to successful completion
- Agile knowledge and adoption experience an advantage
- Experience of managing project team from different business stakeholders and support teams at different levels
- Strong problem-solving skills with conceptual and analytical capabilities to deal with ambiguities
- Acute sense of business direction and thorough knowledge of RBW business to make good judgment in cross-RBW transformation initiatives
- Keep abreast of market developments and business trends to explore new business opportunities
- Excellent leadership, communication, influencing, planning and organizing skills
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
- Ability to work under stress and short turnaround time
- Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage
