Sports Supervisor

Overview

The Hong Kong Football Club is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Sports Supervisor who is passionate about sports and community engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to youth development and a genuine enjoyment of physical activities.

In this role, the supervisor will oversee daily operations, including facility management, sports bookings, staff supervision, and administrative tasks. They will also play a key role in planning and managing club-wide events, particularly major sports events, and will have opportunities to lead initiatives focused on families, youth, and the recreational sports community.

This position provides the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team focused on enhancing member experiences while also leading initiatives. The selected candidate will be instrumental in enriching member experiences and promoting community engagement through the Club's current and new recreational sports programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the sports department, ensuring a high standard of programming and engagement for all participants.
• Organize and manage sports events, ensuring smooth operations and excellent participant experience.
• Provide coaching or teaching in various children's sports, enhancing skills and enjoyment.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Cultivate a welcoming and supportive atmosphere that encourages members to connect and engage with one another.

Qualifications

• A formal qualification in coaching and/or teaching is required, along with proven experience in these areas. The candidate will have the opportunity to apply their coaching skills in a practical setting.
• Demonstrated experience in event planning and management.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; proficiency in English is required, with Cantonese being an advantage.
• A strong passion for delivering sports programmes and engaging in community involvement.
• Strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team and engage with a diverse range of member communities.
