Institute of Professional Education And Knowledge (PEAK) is one of the member institutions of the Vocational Training Council responsible for the provision of in-service training and professional examination services.  More than 200 major companies have utilised its corporate training services.
 
Major Duties:
(a)    To spearhead the planning, design, development and marketing of award-bearing insurance training programmes, professional examinations and other services;
(b)    To manage PEAK’s award-bearing and non-award bearing training programmes;
(c)    To provide support for matters relating to the accreditation / re-accreditation of PEAK’s programmes; and implement VTC quality assurance policies;
(d)    To grow customer base and develop new market opportunities for PEAK in Hong Kong, Macau and in the Mainland; and
(e)    To achieve annual financial income targets and business results.
           
Requirements:
(a)    A recognised degree or equivalent qualification in Insurance, Finance, or Risk Management, preferably with a master’s degree;
(b)    At least 5 years’ relevant experience in the insurance or related industry, preferably with exposure in training and development, and management of QF-accredited programmes;
(c)    Relevant professional qualification(s) in insurance, e.g. ANZIIF, CII, etc. are highly preferred;
(d)    In-depth understanding of the latest regulatory requirements, technical knowledge, market practices and training and development needs of the local insurance industry;
(e)    Proven records in service selling and account management with an established business network in the insurance, banking and financial services industries; and
(f)    Good communication and presentation skills with a high level of proficiency in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua.
      
Notes:
(1)    The post is at the rank of Senior Lecturer.
(2)    Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.
(3)    Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment.
(4)    The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and multiple locations within and outside Hong Kong.
