Senior Systems Analyst / Systems Analyst (Data Section)

Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of project for data warehouse revamp and regulatory reporting platform
• Work with vendors and contractors to deliver high quality software deliverables
• Involve in all stages of the software development life cycle and provide well documentation
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in software development or application support preferably in banking industry
• Solid experience in enterprise-grade data warehouse systems including management information systems, regulatory reporting platform or business intelligence platform, etc.
• Solid experience in SQL, ETL, databases, data modelling and reporting tools
• Experience in project management and vendor management is a plus
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices is a plus
• Experience in HKMA regulatory reporting is a plus
• Good communication and problem-solving skills and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
• Occasional business travel to Mainland China (Shenzhen or Guangzhou) is required
• Knowledges of the latest AI technologies and trends in the banking industry, with the ability to translate them into practical applications
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for junior role
